Australians Let us all Rejoice. . . it will be only 51% home provided you can get back . . .

The current Qantas crisis has the country divided and not just in two, everyone is having a go and rightly so ~  hell, it's one of our national pastimes to have a go ~ Traipsing around the virtual one thing is clear, Australians are, or *ahem* were.. proud of Qantas Airways, it is literally the ‘Spirit of Australia’ and we’ve been for the most part fiercely protective of it, and especially proud of their 90 plus years of an exemplary safety record thanks to our Pilots.
The Flying Kangaroo as Qantas is affectionately known is our symbol of home and safety for all Australians traveling by air. For those that baulk and whine like a pom in a bath at the sometimes higher cost of Qantas tickets I say 'What price your life in the air?'  I’m good with it.
That has all come crashing down in the last 24hrs with the decision by Alan Joyce, CEO of Qantas (not an Aussie btw) to ground the fleet worldwide in an effort to ‘bust the Unions’. Planes have been literally halted on the tarmac and passengers disembarked in foreign countries to be told 'You can't go home'.

There’s plenty to be found on this diabolical act of attempting to ruin a nations economy and we’ve all had plenty to say about it.I have faith in my country and its people, we've never backed off a bloody good fight and this is shaping up for one hell of a donnybrook.
Here’s the ultimate word on the situation and a hint of times to come for our beloved Flying Kanga if Alan Joyce has his way, especially after that multimillion dollar payrise he received before locking down the airline.
